News

This is the first update for this project. Rather than have a typical 'blog' look where there are dated entries, I'll update when I can. This will avoid the obvious gaps in time between updates.

The Idea

Success in software development is an elusive goal. Success in this game is not much different.  You don't 'win' so much as struggle to do the daily work without causing more work later.

This game simulates a waterfall method of software development. Future games are considered for Agile and Venture Capital.

Title Screen
The Title Screen tells it all, "The secret to success is knowing who to blame for your failures".

Select a Player
This is a non-discriminatory game in that you can choose to play as Bobbi or Bobby.

Gather Requirements
Be careful to get only fully-developed requirements (fully-developed requirement) and not only parially-developed reqirements (partially-developed requirements). Partially-developed requirements introduce bugs. If you don't get 'enough' requirements, you'll have unhappy customers.

Design
Any connection that is not tied to another system will intoduce additional bugs. Also, if you don't place all the components you need, you'll have an incomplete system, causing unhappy customers.

Debug
All the bugs are there to be discovered, but do you have enough time?

Support
Each bug will need support. Each unhappy customer will need to be calmed down. Each times time. How happy are the customers when you are done? Will they come back?
